Brazen Forgery released the second single from their upcoming fall EP on July 19th. The song, titled Piilopirtti, tells a survival story from the 17th century Karelian Isthmus, where enemy troops would periodically attack villages, destroying everything in their path. During these turbulent times, villagers would flee to hidden shelters in the forest if they had the chance. The survival of many families often depended on whether they woke up in time to see the glow of flames from a burning neighboring villages.

"Even though all worldly possessions were lost once again, lives were sometimes spared, and songs and stories continued to the next generations. That's why, in the end, I'm here, wasting air and making songs," commented the multitasker responsible for the entire project of Brazen Forgery.
